This policy explains how Cycle Commons Studio is designed to handle information. It applies to the Android app and this public support website.
Short version: notes, bookmarks and progress stay in app-private storage on your device. The app has no account, network permission, ads, analytics or cloud sync. Android backup is disabled. You can delete individual entries or use Erase All Local Entries.
1. Scope and responsible organization
This policy applies to Cycle Commons Studio, an offline professional-learning and facilitation app provided by CORE COLLABORATION OF REVENUE CYCLE EPIC. It also applies to this static app-support website. The postal contact is 206 Willow Brook Cir, Kaysville, UT 84037, United States.
2. App purpose and intended audience
The app is intended for adult professionals who want to explore original educational lessons, fictional decision scenarios, facilitation templates and plain-language reference material about operational handoffs and improvement work. It is not an EHR, billing platform, coding tool, payment service, medical product, legal service or compliance authority.
3. Information the app does not collect or transmit
The app does not collect, send, sell or share personal data with the publisher or third parties. It does not request an account, name, email address, telephone number, precise location, contacts, photos, files, advertising identifier, device identifier, financial information, health information or usage telemetry. The app has no network permission and no background data transfer.
4. Device-local notes, bookmarks and progress
You may choose to create reflections or action notes, bookmark learning items and mark progress. These items are stored only in the app’s private local storage on your device. The app uses them to restore your own workspace on that device. They are not uploaded, synchronized, emailed or exposed to other users by the app.
5. Sensitive and confidential information boundary
Do not enter protected health information (PHI), patient names or identifiers, claim or account numbers, payment details, credentials, confidential employer information, proprietary workflows or real case records. The note feature is for general personal learning reflections only. App prompts and fictional scenarios are designed not to require sensitive information.
6. Storage and security
Local entries are stored within Android app-private storage, which is protected by Android’s application sandbox. No method of storage is guaranteed to prevent every loss or unauthorized access, especially if a device is compromised, shared without safeguards or accessed after it is unlocked. Users should apply device security updates and use an appropriate screen lock.
7. Backup, transfer and export
The app is designed with Android backup disabled (allowBackup=false). It does not provide automatic cloud backup, cross-device synchronization or automatic export. Removing the app, clearing its storage or resetting the device may permanently erase local entries. The app does not read the clipboard or export notes without an explicit feature being added and disclosed in a future version.
8. Permissions and connectivity
The app does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, notification, advertising-ID, health, payment or broad storage permissions. Learning content and search behavior are bundled with the app.
9. Third-party services and software components
The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, social-login SDK, cloud database, payment processor or network client. It uses Android platform components and bundled content. Google Play may independently process store-level information under Google’s policies; that processing occurs outside the app and is not controlled by this policy.
10. Retention and deletion
Local notes, bookmarks and progress remain on the device until you delete an item, choose the in-app Erase All Local Entries control, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Erase All Local Entries removes notes, bookmarks and progress immediately from the app’s local store. Because the app does not receive a copy, there is no publisher-held app database to search or erase.
11. Children’s privacy
Cycle Commons Studio is intended for adult professionals and is not directed to children. The app is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. If the intended audience or functionality changes, the audience declaration, experience and this policy must be reviewed before release.
12. Advertising, analytics and tracking
The app and this support website do not contain advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, behavioral profiling, cookies or cross-site tracking. This website is a static information resource and has no form, account system or app download. Server operators may maintain ordinary security and access logs outside the site code; the site itself does not add scripts to analyze them.
13. Sources, external sites and trademark boundary
Public sources are listed in Source notes. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Epic is a registered trademark of Epic Systems Corporation. Cycle Commons Studio is not an Epic product and is not endorsed, certified, sponsored by or affiliated with Epic Systems Corporation. The app does not connect to Epic or any EHR and must not reproduce proprietary interfaces or customer material.
14. Policy updates and contact route
If app behavior changes, the policy should be updated before or at the same time as the relevant release. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes should be described clearly in release notes rather than applied silently.
